They married 5 April 1830 in Market Stainton with Richard Goy as one of the witnesses.

By 1851 John and Ellen had moved to Kirmond le Mire, Lincolnshire. James (now listed as William) and Alexander are still at home and there are now 2 more children - Martha and John.
I had no luck at all trying to find George Homes and Thomas Haylesby. There are quite a lot of men with the name George Homes, As the ages in the 1841 are not close to being accurate its hard to narrow it down. Thomas Haylesby seems to vanish completely.
