Robert Blakewell

*not confident about this family/needs more research

Robert and Mary Blakewell lived next door to their son Edward. Unsure where Robert was born, Mary was baptised 20 November 1786 in Gautby, Lincolnshire.  Ive not found Robert yet.

Robert and Mary (Stovin) married 5 December 1803 in Belchford, Lincolnshire.  As far as I can find they had their first child in 1814 which seems a rather large gap between marriage and children for this time frame. Living with them was the son James and also John Blakewell.  John could also be a son as his age puts him as being born a few years after the marriage but Ive not been able to confirm.

Mary passed away in 1848 and was buried on 22 January aged 61.  Robert passed soon after and was buried on 23 April 1848 aged 81.

I have found records of a Solomon Blakewell going to Australia and dieing in 1887 in the State New South Wales.  The timeline/age fits but would need investigating further.  James has moved away for the 1851 Census and is living in Market Stainton. He is back in Sotby for the 1861 Census. He died in 1865.  Edward, as mentioned above, is a few houses away in 1851. He died in 1858.  At this point, Elizabeth and Robert Jr are a bit of a mystery.
