52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks - Week 22 : At the Cemetary

As Im in Australia and most of my ancestors are/were from the United Kingdom, I don't get to do much grave hunting or visiting cemeteries in search of that missing link.

I do however have 2 close family members buried within an hour of where I have recently moved.  I did live closer but I would still say I live nearby.

My father Michael Robinson who I wrote about in Week 9 and my maternal grandma Margaret (Maud Alice) Brittle née Manning are both burried at Pinegrove Memorial Park in Western Sydney, NSW.  My dad died in 1990 and my grandma - my brother and I called her Nannan - died in 1986.

Pinegrove is such a peaceful place to visit.  Dad was cremated and his ashes buried near a fish pond which always has ducks and other birds flying by.  I visited them both recently as I was in between appointments in the area and it was a beautiful winters day.
